The days of the zero down "sub-prime" loans are gone and I for one, am grateful. I don't feel
that we should ever buy something we can't afford... let alone make the payments on. However, there are still many great low and zero home home loans availible for qualified buyers and I am a huge fan of VA Home Loans, FHA home loans and USDA rural home loans; they are all government back and keep first time buyers and move up buyers in safe, debt to income ratio. Over 80% of all first time buyers use these programs to get into a home and many do it with Zero Down Payment!"
